FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Patronato covers up to 100% of the medical expenses required to improve a child's health. This percentage is established according to the seriousness of the case or the results of a socioeconomic study of the family carried out by the Patronato Pro Niños staff.
In addition, Patronato Pro Niños covers 100% of the transportation costs of a sick child and up to 50% of the transportation cost for one family member, if the health center where the child is sent is not in the municipality of San Miguel. All dental care is free for all children.
In some instances, the child’s family is asked to participate in the cost of the child’s care. This contribution is usually less than $100 pesos ($10 USD). It is our belief that this co-payment approach assures better treatment follow-through.
Patronato Pro Niños, A. C. does not receive payment for any of its services.
