| MEDICAL
PROGRAM
Our volunteers visit the communities in the municipality of San Miguel de Allende to identify those children in need of medical attention. Once the medical need of the child is determined, he or she is channeled to the required medical doctor following an initial visit to the Patronato's office. Depending on the result of the medical visit, the family is given the economical support necessary for the child to receive the required medical attention. This support includes medicines, consultations, surgeries, etc.
These children are then asked to come to our offices along with their parents or guardians.
During this office visit, a preliminary assessment is made, then follow-up appointments with the appropriate professionals are scheduled.
Patronato Pro Niños underwrites the large majority of the cost, depending on the case.
