VOLUNTEERS 

The Patronato Pro Niños family is made up of volunteers from all walks of life. We are always thrilled to have retired medical personnel join our group, as they can give so much advice and experience to the medical committee. And members of the financial and business worlds can also give us much needed advice for planning our funding and investments.

Equally valuable though is all the help we receive from the members of the San Miguel community, who just want to give a little of their time. Whether it be to help plan a fundraising party, offer their skills in writing or publicity, be a volunteer at our auction or just delivering our newsletters, every minute they give enables the children we serve to live healthier and happier lives.

Being a volunteer for Patronato Pro Niños is both easy and rewarding! And if you are interested in volunteering with us, we'd love to have you. More specifically, if you are interested in being one of our volunteers who goes out into the country to find children in need of help, just let us know and we’ll connect you with the head of the “camp” volunteer group.

Our "campo" volunteers travel in pairs. They must provide their own transportation and must speak enough Spanish to be able to communicate with the teachers at the schools they visit.

Your vehicle can be anything from a motorbike to a tank, and depending on what from your transportation takes, Warren will select an area for you that you can easily visit. At present, we have two bilingual volunteers waiting in the wings. We just need drivers to accompany them. So if you could designate one day a month to go to a school or two, we promise you that these will be some of the most memorable mornings you've ever spent!
